    Sometimes, really, pharmacy can be of such low visibility. I had the opportunity to meet up with various representatives from Singapore, including, the Mr Lam, CEO HPB, two other officials in the MOH, the Chief Nursing Officer, the president of the Singapore Nurses Association and also, the president of the Commonweath Nurses Association, who is Singaporean. Well…so, in a way, it was really nice to meet up with Singaporeans at the World Health Assembly, and I had the chance and time to also chat and dine with the nurses. Quite an interesting insight into the world of nursing and also, it may be of interest to know how active nurses are in Singapore and they are the ones trying to even push for collaborative practice and mutilogues with pharmacy and medicine. Well…at times, I really do wish we had some international representation for Singapore Pharmacy.

Legally speaking, pharmacists are not a required profession in Singapore. They can all just die and then healthcare given to patient is still considered adequate and nobody can sue the ministry for negligence..
